Right. We've recorded 9 tracks which all sound tight, lively and on it.
4 more to go. We've fixed up dates to record them in the next month so and when that's done it'll be time to mix.
We'll keep you updated on how it's all going.

We've put together all the best bits from our trip to Glasgow in this vidcast.
So for live tracks, behind-the-scenes footage and the truth about how bad we are at doing our intros have a click and a look. If that's not sold you, you also get to see our manager in a toilet.

And they're looking good. We've got them in all sizes, including girls skinny fit, in green, red and purple.

So if you want to show your love (and let the other bands at gig know you've not come to see them) get yourself to the shop where you can buy one online.

Got a call from the people at The Barfly offering us a gig this Saturday. We didn't have to think about it. It's short notice but if you're around it'd be great to see you there.

As promised here's the last live track from our show for anewmovement.com at Glasgow Barfly. It's Janine. Keep checking back, there'll be a vidcast from Glasgow coming this way soon.

Here's another track from Scotland; one of our newest songs, Just A Little Lie. There's one more live track to come, so keep checking back for it.

The first album sessions are done. 10 days in the studio. 9 tracks recorded. 2 tracks to go. We'll be back in the studio soon to finish it.
To celebrate geting the debut on the way, we're playing a Club FleeingNewYork gig at the Old Blue Last in Shoreditch on June 12th.
We'll be doing all the tracks from the album, so to find out what'll be on it, come down and join us there. Tickets are on sale now - and there are a handful left still.

As well as the live tracks, we've got this behind-the-scenes video of our Glasgow gig, shot for us and put together by the people at anewmovement. See the whole thing, from the (very early) London load-in to the show itself.

5 days in at Fishmarket with James Lewis and the tracks are sounding great.
The studio's massive, layed out a bit like Abbey Road 2 - big live room and a control room upstairs.
There's loads of great sounding vintage gear around the place that we\'ve borrowed and been turning up loud to get sounds from. Feel like kids in a toy shop.
Overdubs start today, mainly for Gaz. Vocals tomorrow and the rest of the week. It's hot. We've picked the hottest days of the year so far to record on the week the studio's air conditiong's packed in. Control room's a sweatbox.
Can't wait to get it finished. Here's a couple of shots of the studio, we'll also have some video for you soon too

It's time. The debut album's on its way later this year and the first sessions to record it start tomorrow.
6 days tracking in Fishmarket Studios with James Lewis, then a day off before another 4 days the week after.
We're going to be secretive and not tell you which tracks we're recording. Yet. But we will be keeping a video diary and blogs to let you know what's happening.
Catch you soon

Listen to See What You Get on the new Groove Armada album Soundboy Rock.
The synth line is played by Ed, who Groove Armada got in touch with for some help with the track. Hopefully the first collaberation of many.

On June 12th The Shakes headline Club FleeingnewYork at The Old Blue Last, Hoxton. Tickes are on sale from today and will sell out fast. To get yours, click the link below.

Billy Sloan is one of Scotland's biggest journalists and DJs. He's been playing our tracks on his show and wrote this piece about us for The Sunday Mail. He loved the story about how we used to drive a hearse to gigs.
And for those who never saw it, here's a picture of the hearse.

Glasgow went off. Now you can check out the live version of Liberty Jones from the show at anewmovement.com.
There'll be more live vids from Glasgow coming soon, so watch this space.

We'll be back up next season.
And my season ticket will be free.

Trip to Glasgow started badly with John treading in dog shit at 4am and ended brilliantly with a class gig in Glagow Barfly. Cheers to everyone who helped out and made it happen.
Pictures, live tracks and interviews will be up in the next few days on www.anewmovement.com so check back there soon to see the show for yourself.
